Lead Development Specialist / IceStone / Brooklyn, NY

IceStone/Brooklyn, NYIceStone is seeking a full-time Lead Development Specialist. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, ambitious, organized, has strong communication and technology skills, and has the ability to build relationships internally and externally at all business levels. The Lead Development Specialist is responsible for capturing, qualifying, tracking and assigning construction leads to IceStone and distributor partner sales team members. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Tasks & Responsibilities • Responsible for capturing commercial construction leads originating from Reed Construction, Internet, and industry publications • Maintains an up to date sales pipeline in Salesforce.com • Contacts inbound leads to qualify and assign to the appropriate IceStone or distributor sales team member • Demonstrated history of assisting architectural and design firms in creating, maintaining and closing specifications • Creates commercial price quotes and responds to RFQs from distributors and fabricators • Develop strong relationships with targeted fabricators and specifiers • Demonstrated history of success in growing commercial sales • Promote open communication between team members to help create and maintain an innovative and cooperative team spirit • Work closely with IceStone Sales Team members to achieve corporate sales goals • Perform routine administrative and marketing duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Leadership Skills • Track record of collaborative decision making • Ability to influence direction and decisions without authority • Track record of achieving results through others Communication Skills • Excellent speaking, writing, and listening skills • Ability to communicate effectively with the organization and customer at all levels • Prepares project proposals and developing presentations • Shares information across teams and across managers • Relates well with employees at all levels • Can tactfully give and receive timely feedback to team members • Demonstrates excellent listening skills Interpersonal/Team Working Skills • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills at the technology and team level • Contributes constructively, share ideas and actively listen to ideas of others • Works well with all levels and with functional support groups • Displays appropriate assertiveness, emotions, and conflict management • Work with minimal or no supervision • Support the leadership and experience of others • Receptive to receiving feedback from others Functional Skills • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels • Ability to prioritize activities and execute strategies effectively Education & Experience: • Successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in business, design, or related field • Knowledge of the premium surfaces business a plus • Deep knowledge of the architectural and commercial sales process including strong working knowledge of LEED and CSI specification requirements • Must possess strong computer skills (MS Office, Salesforce.com, REED Data) with an ability to learn new systems and tools quickly • Successful candidate will have 3-5 years of outside selling experience, be energetic, creative, dedicated and meticulous to details • Ability to multi-task, communicate effectively w/all levels and successfully meet deadlines • Candidate needs to be organized, disciplined and a self-starter • Flexible team player with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, functioning in a fast-paced environment under significant time pressures Apply To Job
