Core Competencies: - Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics or Engineering; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. - Typically possesses five or more years experience in organizational programs or energy efficiency, plus two or more years of supervisory or program management experience. - Demonstrated experience collaborating with various entities related to the lighting industry (e.g., IOUs, Energy Star, Dept. of Energy, CLTC, PEARL, Energy Division). - Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with energy efficiency lighting segments, such as residential, commercial, industrial, agriculture, and exterior lighting. - Demonstrated experience with energy efficiency concepts, analysis, and methodologies. - Demonstrated experience with project management including, identifying, maintaining, and/or adjusting the cost, scope, and resources of projects, and overseeing the formal planning, tracking, and reporting of project performance. - Demonstrated experience consulting with clients, including identifying clients, developing actions plans, and presenting results. - Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Access. - Must demonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, and manage information. - Must demonstrate effective decision making, results delivery, team building, and staying current with relevant technology and innovation. - Must demonstrate strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning. COMMENTS: Additional testing may be administered as part of the selection process to fill this position. Preferences: PE Certification. Typical Responsibilities: The successful candidate will design and implement programs for the Lighting Market Transformation (LMT) Program. He/she will establish processes through which the IOUs can develop and test market transformation strategies for both emerging and existing lighting technologies across all market sectors. He/she will coordinate activities on a regional, statewide, and national level with other utilities and government agencies (e.g., Investor Owned Utilities (IOUs), Energy Star, CEE, PEARL, DOE, California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC), the Energy Division and Energy Commission). In addition, the project manager will coordinate activities and resources internally with Southern California Edison#s Energy Efficiency, Design and Engineering, and Codes and Standards Department. Other responsibilities will include managing relationships with market players, tracking and monitoring program activities, as well as reporting program results and expenditures.
